SATSANGS and KIRTAN
Satsang Schedule for 2007-08

Satsang is a gathering of yoga students, teachers, and "sangha" (community) for chanting, meditation and spiritual gathering. There is always a guest speaker that shares his/hers wisdom, expertice and/or experience on different aspects of Yoga, such as philosophy, meditation, diet, alternative/ complementary medicine, breathing, energy, etc.

Kirtan is the chanting of sacred sounds. It is a practice which is becoming more and more popular all over the world. Chanting is the easiest and most powerful way of balancing the body and mind, and realizing the spirit within us. Kirtan really is the best medicine, and the ancient yoga masters have been using these sound vibrations for thousands of years to calm the mind and open the heart.

Satsangs are held one FRIDAY per month in the Fall through Spring from 6 to 8:30pm approx. unless otherwise posted. No pre-registration required for this event. unless otherwise noted. A $15 donation at the door is suggested although any love donation will be accepted. Call (804) 355-1008 or e-mail us.
