Stress Management Workshops
|
A new seven week course designed to meet the requests of our
yoga students, this comprehensive program will include hatha
yoga, yogic breathing, meditation, yogic diet, and journal
writing. This class seeks to strenghten and expand upon some
of the concepts learnt in other classes and seminars so that
we can incorporate them into our daily life.

Through the Sutras of Patanjali, we will explore ways of
recognizing obstacles and using them to attain a more
consistent yogic lifestyle. To that end, we will operate
as a support group to help us develop willpower &
discipline. Being loving but firm, accountable but without
feelings of guilt, forgiving, accepting, smiling, understanding
ourselves and those with whom we work and play. This
adventure requires commitment and a sense of fun, so please
bring these things along with your blanket or mat.
Experts in different topics will be invited to share with
us their gifts, such as Zen meditation, nutrition, journal
writing, etc.
Nora
Vimala Soler Pozzi - director of the IYI, is certified
as an advanced Integral Yoga Teacher, recently attended a
Raja Yoga Intensive Course and is a certified Stress Management
Integral Yoga Teacher.
Elizabeth Faircloth, course assistant, is an advanced yoga
student who has attended most IYI classes and workshops
and has veen working consistently to incorporate the yoga
teachings into her lifestyle.
