Gigi JHYOTI Robson is a CPA and is currently acting as Treasurer of the IYC . She has been practicing yoga for several years, is a certified yoga teacher through the International Yoga School (IYS), and in 1999, completed the IYC-Richmond Teacher Training Program. In 2000 she completed the Intermediate Teacher Training at Yogaville. Gigi has been the main motor and inspiration implementing the necessary steps for the opening of the center. She continues to work and support the center with unlimited selfless love and dedication and continues to be a source of inspiration.

Jane KARUNA Gordon became an accredited Integral Yoga ® Teacher in December 1999. She has taught numerous Hatha Yoga classes for the Richmond Integral Yoga Center and at the Bon Air Juvenile Correctional Center. She is a member of our Richmond Teacher Training staff. She holds a Master's Degree in Special Education from VCU and has worked in the field of education for 30 years: as a teacher, an educational diagnostician, and currently as a consultant in the Child Neurology Department at MCV. She is the mother of two grown-up children and a teenage son and has three granddaughters. She is a contributor to our newsletter and helps to proofread it.

Karen KALYANI Levitt has been in Richmond for 15 years, employed as an Underwriter for an insurance company. Introduced to Yoga via an adult education course while in high school, she continued to take Yoga while in college. She Incorporated Yoga into her lifestyle 5 years ago. She graduated from the IYC Teacher Training course in Richmond in 2002. She is excited to share the benefits of Yoga with others.

NANDA DEVI Deirdre Turner: "I have been practicing various types of Yoga for over twenty years and began teaching Yoga to others in June of 2002, after graduating from the Richmond Integral Yoga Teacher Training Program. My love of Yoga and enthusiasm in sharing Yoga with others has led me to teach to groups as diverse as senior citizens with limited range of motion, and athletes requiring a challenging routine. I am also certified by the National YMCA and ACE (American Council of Exercise) to teach group exercise and hold current CPR and First Aid certifications. I incorporate into my teaching both Yoga and Pilates and have accumulated more than 500 teaching hours experience".

NITIKA Lalita Collins: "I fell in love with Integral Yoga during a visit to Yogaville in the spring of 1998. That April I became certified a s beginner level instructor. Because of a drawing connection to Sri Swami Satchidananda I visited Yogaville often and took training for Intermediate level and yoga for kids inch following years. As a herbalist who likes to incorporate teaching of several traditions to help a person heal ad stay healthy have a holistic approach to Yoga as well. I realize that Hatha is not the only limb that needs attention so I try to keep accedes on chanting, meditation and ad students Individuality as well."

Nora VIMALA Soler Pozzi
, architect, artist & graphic designer has been the Director of the IYC of Richmond since 1993. She is a certified Advanced Hatha, Prenatal, Raja, Stress Management, Kids & Teens and Cardiac Integral Yoga Teacher and has attended the Jon Kabat-Zinn MBSR Program for Health Care Practitioners. She is a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Practitioner and has been the director and main instructor for the Integral Yoga Teacher Training Program in Richmond since 1999. She is currently finishing her internship in the "Yoga for People with Cancer Teacher Training with Jnani Chapman at Yogaville. Nora loves to lecture and offer workshops on yoga and stress management and is part of the annual "Stress can you live with it?" workshop offered by Henrico County Department of of Human Resources & Employee Training.

Penny PADMA Sedgley is an economic analyst with the State of Virginia. She has been practicing yoga since 1987 and was accredited to teach Integral Yoga ® in 1999. Penny is presently teaching her second IYI Yoga class and is excited about having the opportunity to pass on her love of yoga to others.
